The Siloli Desert is located at the South east of the city of Potosí, in Bolivia. It is know for its very singular volcanic rock formations made by wind erosion. It is considered one of the most arid in the world due to the low precipitation that occurs in the area. It is usually part of tourist routes, since it is the gateway to the National Reserve of Andean Fauna Eduardo Avaroa to its surroundings are the colorful lagoons as well as the Great Salar de Uyuni.
